Privacy notice.

This is a small personal website. It collects as little about you as possible. Here is what that means in practice.

Who is responsible

Dr. Eddie J. Fernandes, Cascais, Portugal. For any privacy question, write to eddiejfernandes@gmail.com.

No cookies, no tracking, no accounts

This site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and there are no user accounts. The fonts are served from this website itself, so your browser makes no requests to third-party font services.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web server, theirs may record basic technical details of each visit (such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept by the host for a limited period.

If you email us

If you write to us by email, your message and email address are used only to reply to you. They are not shared with anyone else.

Links to other websites

Book links take you to external stores such as Amazon and Clube de Autores. Once you are there, their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Just email us. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados), at www.cnpd.pt.
