Eddie Fernandes co-founded Riverside International Church in Cascais in 1996 alongside his wife Marta. What began as a single congregation has grown into the Riverside Federation of Churches, with communities in Cascais, Lisbon, Porto, and Albufeira.
He holds a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) and has been trained at four Christian institutions across Portugal, South Africa, and the United States. He is a pastor, chaplain, evangelist, mentor of leaders, and global preacher — having carried the Gospel to more than 75 countries over four decades.
Married to Marta Isabel since 1989, father of three daughters and grandfather of eight.
